With this tutorial, you can see how to load your legal backups, without a modification.

Download the file above and extract it somewhere.
Install the CIOS36_rev5-64-v1042.wad
Install the DVDX .dol into your apps and setup via Homebrew Channel. Click advanced and set it to 249
Create a folder on your SD card in the apps folder and name it Wii Backup Loader (Or anything else) and put dvd-back.dol in there.
Make sure that backup-creator.exe , common-key and the game.iso you are wanting to backup is in the same folder.
Using Drag 'n Drop, put the ISO over the backup-creator.exe and a new iso called partition.iso will be created.
Now burn the new iso partition.iso with IMGBurn
Go to Homebrew Channel on the Wii and load the Wii Loader backup-dvd.dol file you did earlier and launch.
It will ask to insert a Wii disc. Insert your backup. Your backup should load.
