Here is another guide to play Steam games for free. (View the older guide here).

Also Needed
-The latest Steam client.

As this guide is the same as the older one, you can discuss in the older topic too. The older topic is here. 

How to
-Download and install the client. When finish, let the client to update itself and patch the files as needed.DON'T close it.

-When finish updating, login into a blank account (not a valid one). The updating will starting again. DON'T close it.

-When finish, you can close the client. You will notice that your games catalog is empty.

-Now from the file above, get the patch file (.exe) and put it into the steam's folder. Run it.

-From the program's menu, press start and select yes when asked for prevent the steam for updating. You can update the steam anytime (read below).

-Now you are done. Run the steam and choose the games you want (there is a limit in games you can download).

If Steam needs to be updated
-Close the client and delete "Steam.cfg" from Steam directory.
-Launch Steam and it will starting to update itself.
-When finish, close the Steam and launch the patch.
-Do the same steps as above to patch the Steam.

Server busy error
If you want a game that isn't available(server busy error), you need to download the GCF file for it and put it in your Steam folder. You can get almost EVERY game this way. Download, request of post GCF's here.
